For all the heavy hearted folks out there, this new song from Ingrid Michaelson is just what the doctor orderded, because music is the best cure for a broken heart. Forget all those sloppy, dramatic break up songs. After a breakup you just need a girl-power boost that will kick him to the curb! "Girls Chase Boys" is one of those songs that will help yourself to get back up. Cheers up for all the single gals out there!

It's no secret that I adore every song of Ingrid. There's no other female artist that I admire so much as her (sorry Bey!). Her music is one big master piece and she always knows how to touch the soul with her lyrics.

"Girls Chase Boys" is the first release of Ingrid's new EP Lights Out, which is set to release on the 15th of April. For her new record, Ingrid worked with many producers from all over the country. For the writing process for "Girls Chase Boys'' she elaborated even on Facebook! How cool is that? Compared to Ingrid's previous work, "Girls Chase Boys"is definitely more poppy, but it's still very 'Ingrid'.
