Happy Monday to you all! In this week's Happy Music Monday edition, I would love to share with you the brand new music video "Hold On" of the talented Irish sing-songwriter Róisín O. An incredible video with an inspiring message, that makes me questioning things about life.
"Hold On" is directed and also edited by Simon Eustace and features Aaron Heffernan, Mirjana Rendulic, Geraldine McAlinden & Colin Condon. Róisín O just finished her succesfull US tour and next month she will be heading to Germany for a date tour with Ryan Sheridan. Not a suprise why Róisín's US tour became a great success. Her voice is beautiful and her sound in "Hold On" is so haunted that moves you. Róisín O wrote the song for a close friend of her, who went through a hard time. She wanted to help him, but she didn't know how:
"Sometimes our minds take us to dark places and it gets hard to escape. A very close friend of mine was going through a tough time, as happens us all, and I found myself wanting, but unable, to help make things better for him. Sometimes all you can do for someone is to be there for them and let them know that things will get better one day. This song is for him."
I love the idea behind the song and I think everyone can somehow relate to this situation. Sometimes you just want all the best for your love ones, but you simply don't know why, but Róisín is right. All the best that you can do is to be there for them and to support them. In the end, everything is going to be fine.
